| You know, I used to think that old people were funny, I laughed about their aches and pains. And I was happy in my ignorant youth. I was so full of myself back then in my younger years that I didn't know any better. Now I am getting old. And you know what? I swear, when the weather turns cold, or its going to get bad or nasty outside, I can feel it in my bones! Any of you out there have that same intuition? Of course, my bones tell me a lot of things. They also say that I am 110 years old now. They are such damn liars!
Aging: Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying about your age and start bragging about it. The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for. One of the many things no one tells you about aging is that it is such a nice change from being young. First you forget names, and then you forget faces. Then you forget to pull up your zipper. It's worse when you forget to pull it down. | |
